And Into December…?

Hello, all. Hopefully you had a lovely Thanksgiving. I did most of my celebrating yesterday, which was a little different. Apples to Apples was a pleasant way to end the day’s festivities.

This week we are heading into December already, and with it my possibly last shows of the season. December 3rd I will have things (and myself) at the Summit Avenue Artisan Festival and things at Mims Photography on Grand Avenue. Grand Meander is quite a fun event, all up and down Grand (and Summit) Avenues. There are giveaways, photo ops (reindeer and Santa), and little competitions all over besides the usual shopping.

If you’ve never been, or have been about five years ago, it might be time to (re)visit!

A plentiful amount of rain has decided to wash away the earlier snowfall and apparently we aren’t into Winter here yet. I enjoy the changing of the seasons and it is part of the reason I live here… but I wish it would pick one.

I suppose it keeps me indoors and focused on creating. Today’s goal is to design an appropriate costume for the mannequin. I’m thinking a fun, holiday themed apron, with some jewelry to draw attention to myself. Work was short today, but also busy- a stark contrast to Saturday which was long and very few customers.

I also managed to give my house a good clean, except the living room, where things are currently residing awaiting Friday set-up and Saturday shows. I think Tool Thursday will be put on hold for a little bit, as I continue to re-figure myself out. Perhaps a “Friday Fun” instead, a bit of a round up of pictures from the week.

Thanks for reading!
