November’s Crazy Ride

Hello, and welcome to November.

I didn’t get around to posting on Monday, obviously. Saturday changed my plans and I was too unfocused on Sunday to write ahead from it. A very dear friend and mentor is losing his battle with cancer, so we went to visit instead. I should have known how that would affect the rest of my day, and forced myself through writing on Sunday, but I didn’t. I played with oils and waxes and made some lotion bars for Friday instead.

As the title mentions, November is gonna be crazy this year.

On Friday, I set up for Saturday’s show- at Oakdale Discovery Center. It will be my first year doing this show, and I am excited. A nature themed show is right up my alley, I’ve got a stronger grasp on who I am and what I do (though there won’t be quite enough time to make a ton of pieces showcasing that, obviously!) and I know at least four other artisans there.

The following Saturday, the 11th, I will probably be doing a Holiday Market at Wabasha Brewing Company. I’m a little nervous for that event, mostly because I’m not entirely sure about transportation at this point… and that leads me into Sunday, the 12th, which will be the Fridley Fall Frenzy.

THEN another show on Saturday, the 18th. My fourth or fifth or maybe even sixth year putting things into the MSUS Holiday Bazaar.

And basically right into December, with my second year celebrating the Grand Meander at UCC Summit Avenue.

So… I’m off to make things!
See you tomorrow, with either a lotion bar recipe or a tool review… depending on how the afternoon goes!
